Loving my new place it’s quiet and i feel safe. it’s convenient for me to see my family and friends. Staff is very friendly and helpful. only thing that needs attention is the elevators sometimes they are not clean.

I’ve really enjoyed living at Montage Apartments at Assembly Row. The community is clean, well-maintained, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. The location is hard to beat with great restaurants, shopping, the Orange Line, and plenty of places to walk and relax. I feel safe here and appreciate how convenient everything is. It’s been a great place to call home, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to live in the Assembly Row area.

Love living at Montaje. The pool was great as a haven for the heat wave. Maintenance has also been incredibly responsive. Reported a sink disposal issue and it got fixed immediately the next day.

I really enjoy living here; the location is absolutely excellent and convenient. However, there is some room for improvement regarding the cleanliness of the common areas, especially the elevators, which could use more frequent attention. Additionally, it can be quite difficult to find clear information about the building's amenities and how to use them. Overall, it's a great community, but fixing these details would make the experience even better.

I absolutely love living here! The location is incredibly convenient, and the building is well maintained. What truly makes this place special, though, is the amazing maintenance team and cleaning staff. They work so hard and consistently go above and beyond to keep everything clean, safe, and running smoothly. Their dedication does not go unnoticed, and they make such a huge difference in the overall living experience. They are always friendly, helpful, and take great pride in what they do. We are moving out in July after 2 years of living in this complex. Overall - it has been a very positive experience. No issues with mail/packages, friendly staff, timely maintenance fixes, etc. It can be loud from people on the streets at night, but nothing to be done about that really. Sometimes it seemed like groups of people who don't live here are hanging out on the 2nd floor common areas; again, not a huge deal, but noticeable.

Overall, I enjoy living here. The building is generally very quiet, and I appreciate the gym and outdoor spaces. That said, I do wish there was more communication around the pool opening, as it has been unclear. The gym could also benefit from being larger and having more equipment. One thing that stands out is that there doesn’t seem to be much of a community atmosphere among residents, and I think a friendlier, more welcoming staff experience would make a big difference.

You’re essentially paying for the location. The sound is pretty good in the tower side. You can’t really hear your neighbors much at least but there’s really obnoxious residents that are often very out loud in the gym and common spaces. They’ve also started letting personal trainers into the gym, which is really loud and takes up so much space in an already tiny each sized gym.

The Montage community have so much respect for one another. People are very polite but at the same time mind their business. It’s also a dog friendly neighborhood and people know your dog name versus your name so when they walk by they speak to your dog’s name and the funny thing is that you answer.

We love the building and the area, but in this comment, I would like to address some points that bother us: 1.- Garbage Chutes - The system needs upgrading. When someone does not close the door properly in their floor, it doesn't allow anyone else in the whole building to put their trash in the proper chute door. This causes garbage to accumulate in the trash room and requires additional labor to clean the room and reset the system. I appreciate the maintenance and janitorial staff who have to come frequently to reset the chute doors and clean the rooms, but this should not even happen. 2.- The floors around the elevator and in the hallways are frequently dirty, even though I see the janitorial staff working, especially in the winter when residents walk with wet boots. Maybe there aren't enough cleaning staff for the number of people who use the building? 3.- The sixth-floor hallway carpets are looking very dirty and are past due to be replaced.

There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery options within walking distance, which makes everyday life easy. The building itself feels modern and well-maintained. The apartments have updated finishes, good natural light, and a clean layout. Common areas are usually tidy, and amenities like the gym and shared spaces are nice to have without needing to leave the building. It feels secure, and I’ve generally felt comfortable living here. Management and maintenance have been responsive when needed. Work orders are typically handled in a reasonable timeframe, and communication from the leasing office has been clear.

I generally love living here, but the gym needs updating! The TV screens on the cardio equipment have been broken for at least a year. Also, I wish you would put the shelf back in the gym even if you aren't going to stock towels, because people use equipment to store their keys and waterbottles, so then you can't use that equipment. The front desk and maintenance staff are all wonderful. The lobby doesn't smell like garbage anymore. The hallways and common areas are always clean. Whenever we have a maintenance issue, it is addressed very quickly. Overall, so happy with Montaje, just think the gym needed updating before the lobby did!

Friendly concierge, very accessible to the MBTA Orange Line, and awesome amenities. I wish that they would bring the pool table back, or wish that we had more recreational amenities (like cornhole, foosball, ping pong, etc.) and it's unfortunate that my partner bought a pool cue set in anticipation of Montaje having a pool table, but it has since been removed with no notice on a possible return. We need more social recreational activities because it's pretty barren and bland. Besides from the gym, there's really not much else to do in the common/shared areas of the building - especially during the winter months where there's no pool or courtyard access.

Love the proximity to so many things and you’re essentially paying for the location. Wish they offered parking for guests or spent more of our money updating better washer/dryers, gym equipment, firepits, etc. rather than getting rid of the pool table and changing the lounge space that is usually taken up by the sane group of people daily but that seems common to cut corners on quality products in these types of buildings.

I’ve had a generally positive experience living at Montaje Apartments. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, which makes a big difference day to day. The location is excellent—convenient, walkable, and close to everything I need. The amenities are also a standout and well worth mentioning; they’re modern, plentiful, and definitely one of the biggest perks of living here. That said, there are a few areas where the property could use improvement. Some common areas and parts of the apartments feel a bit rundown—the walls can be dirty or stained, carpets show wear, and there’s noticeable chipped paint on doors. Occasionally there’s also a funky smell in certain areas, which takes away from an otherwise nice environment. Overall, Montaje has a lot going for it, especially in terms of staff, location, and amenities. With better upkeep and attention to maintenance details, it could easily be a five-star place.

I have been living at Montaje for 2 years now. I have taken advantage of the amenities and made several maintenance calls and only had pleasant experiences. This year, however, they changed the door locks to automatically lock behind you when you leave the apartment, and they change $100 for a lock out fee. Feels very unfair to me.

Management and overall building cleanliness is nice. My only issue with my apartment is the individual unit itself. It's located on a lower floor right above a retail store. The music and sounds from that store leak heavily into my unit so that part is annoying. Otherwise these issues wouldn't exist in a differently located unit within the building.

It started out lovely but then the amenities and grounds got worse and worse. I’ve been living here for 3 years and the tvs in the gym have been broken the entire time. Every time I step out of the door, no matter where I am in the building, I step in dog feces. It’s not what it used to be.

I’m terribly disappointed that the billiards room has been taken away for people who “ want more work space”. I expect people to work in their apartments (as I do) , and the already EXPANSIVE areas to work in. People on computers in the art room get huffy sometimes when I come in to make art!! In the art room which is supposed to be “stocked with supplies”. I purchased my own costly supplies for the pool table and this was a big attraction for me and hosting my friends here. I know a lot of people are upset about it.

Going downhill. Took our our really nice big washer/dryers and replaced them with ones that are so small can’t even fit a queen size comforter in them and take forever to spin/dry, removed our pool table, fire pit doesn’t work, they lock the rooftop during certain months, pool closed earlier this year. Never cleaned my outdoor windows after saying the annual window cleaning was happening months ago. Paying more and more for way less amenities and services overtime. You’re literally only paying for the location and nothing else that you can’t get for cheaper elsewhere.

While the apartment itself has some positive aspects, one major issue is the noise. Every day starting around 5 AM, large trucks create significant noise right outside, and this continues until about 7 AM. The early morning disturbance makes it very difficult to rest properly and greatly affects the overall living experience.

They recently got some new gym benches however I can tell that they are already getting worn down. It's clear these were "cheaper" benches than the previous ones so I wish they had gotten more premium ones. Additionally, the maintenance crew has been very helpful with requests however some of them don't speak English very well, so it's difficult to fully communicate with them. I also always ask for them to call me first to make an appointment but they don't. They just show up and knock.

My partner and I just moved in two weeks ago. It was easy to move in and the leasing manager was very communicative and helpful. The amenities are great but I'm disappointed they removed the pool table. Other than that, the neighbors and staff are friendly and respectful. It doesn't get too loud from our room but we do hear footsteps from our upstairs neighbors. Overall, I'm enjoying our transition to Montaje and look forward for the rest of our stay here.

The building is very conveniently located - a prime spot for anyone wanting to take advantage of everything Assembly Row and downtown Boston have to offer. Great views, friendly staff, walking distance to the T, grocery stores, shops, and restaurants make it attractive. That said, while the space is comfortable, several aspects make it far from the “luxury” label it’s marketed under: 1. Outdated indoor & outdoor appliances 2. Worn doors and windows 3. Basic gym equipment and common spaces 4. Spotty Wi-Fi 5. Bathrooms without vents 6. Cars moving in the garage cause apartments to shake 7. Residential garage entrances shared with the public, making access difficult during business hours 8. Occasional mouse sightings in apartments 9. Trash areas that frequently smell 10. Dusty hallways Overall, Montaje delivers on location, but the building’s condition and amenities fall short of expectations for a high-end property - especially given the competition in Boston’s rental market.

My partner and I have been living here for less than a week, but we’re absolutely loving it so far! We’re hoping the billiards table comes back soon, though, because that was a key selling point for us and they recently removed it for construction purposes of the recreation room. However, the free yoga classes every Thursdays in the exercise room downstairs does sweeten the deal. So far, our neighbors have been friendly, amenities have been terrific and the overall process has been undeniably smooth! We can’t believe we found somewhere so elegant, just a close travel to the city with the Orange Line Assembly T stop being right across the street, given our respective budget range. Thank you Montaje team! We look forward to staying here for a while.

I’ve really enjoyed living at Assembly Row—it’s such a unique and convenient place to call home. The location is one of the biggest perks: having shops, restaurants, coffee spots, and entertainment all within walking distance makes day-to-day life so easy and fun. Montaje Apartments offer a beautiful environment, great amenities, and a convenient location with easy access to transportation. Facilities like the gym, communal lounge, and rooftop garden make living here very comfortable. Staff are friendly and the community feels safe and welcoming. The only minor downside is the lack of front desk service on weekends and after midnight, which can be a bit inconvenient, but overall it’s highly recommended.

Staff and people are very nice, the common area of maintenance is very poor, you’re missing basic simple things like chairs. The new carpeting you put in the hallways, is extremely ugly, and not in keeping with the rest of the building. The staff are great, especially Cameron who helped me extensively with my recent move process. Two reasons for my less than 5 star review. Recently moved from one unit to another and this new unit was much less “ready” for move in compared to my previous unit. There was a long list of things I needed to submit to maintenance including missing labels on my oven range and a loose cabinet that didn’t close. I would’ve expected all of these very apparent issues to have been addressed prior to a new tenant moving in. Secondly, there have beeb multiple times some young individuals have broken into the courtyard/pool area (hopped the fence) in the middle of the night (12am-3am) to smoke, play loud music, jump in the pool, talk loudly, etc. which is a huge disturbance to anybody living in a courtyard-facing unit. Management is aware of this so I hope more preventative measures will be taken to stop this from happening.

Honestly was good til recently. I keep a spare key for my pet sitter/cleaning lady with the concierge and multiple times they've lost the key.i was promised this would never happen again and this happened yet again when I was out of town when I was trying to relax and celebrate my birthday, I almost had to drive several hours home in the middle of the night after I had alcohol so my cats would to starve until my pet sitters husband was able to come feed them and maintenance has to let them in. I've always been a good sport and never asked for compensation for previous incidents (happened atleast 5 times now) I think I should have some form of compensation this time especially since I have to compensate my pet sitter extra for the extra visit even though it was through no fault of my own.

We needed some assistance with a leaking food disposer when we moved in, but the maintenance team was fast and helpful. The building has good amenities, and the location is perfect. Montaje is a great apartment complex located in a prime area of Assembly Row. Maintenance is fantastic and respond in a very timely manner. The amenities however are in constant disrepair and for what we are paying would like to see it maintained better.

Montaje is the perfect place to live. The community offers many name brand stores, and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. Access to the MBTA makes Mantaje a superb place to live.

Love living here. Just a few items that I’d like to see improved. Need to move the key fob system that often fails. Trash chute doors do not always work. I’ve asked a few times what the convenience fee at the end of the month is- and no answer is given.

Montaje is such a beautiful building in such a fun neighborhood where there is so much to do. I love the amenities that this apartment building has with the stunning rooftop view and the pool in the summertime. We absolutely love the layout of our apartment and that the appliances and finishes are all updated. The staff and maintenance are also so efficient and friendly.

We love it here! Yes it’s a bit expensive but you have everything right here. You have grills, pool, gym rooftop access, parking, a t stop literally across the street, access to a TON of shopping. It’s really a perfect location and I’m very happy we chose to live here. I not only feel safe but feel more apart of the community as well. Highly recommend!

Neighborhood, amenities are perfect! Very accessible to numerous groceries and shopping spots and even to downtown via T or driving. Noise is bearable, sometimes a bit loud due to the mixed commercial area.

Not enough EV charging options. Loud neighbors and staff unwilling to help rectify disputes. Entitled residents allowed to trash the place. Otherall Managment needs to be overhauled. I still don’t know what they do for there current residents. Their focus is to fill vacancy’s. When you are here and have a problem they don’t want to hear about it or help for resolution. Have had a broken refrigerator for months. No replacements offered. It’s unreal living here. To many problems

I recently had a problem with my door locking. I was able to submit a work order for maintenance to come. My bathroom sink was also clogged up and would not drain. Maintenance responded quickly. The problem with resolved in a timely manner.

I've had a generally positive experience in this apartment building. Its location is convenient, close to shops, eateries, and public transit. Management is responsive, and maintenance issues are usually handled promptly. Communal areas are clean, though there can be occasional slips. The resident community is diverse, with most neighbors being considerate. Soundproofing between units could be better. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons. If considering, visit and chat with residents for a fuller picture.

It is my 5th year living here at Montaje, and there have been some changes. I worked at Sav-Mor Liquors down the street, and other fellow neighbors moved out (you know who you are). There have been new buildings that now call Assembly Row home. And some that have returned either by renovation or rebuilding from fires. Here's to another year here at Montaje.

Really enjoy living here, especially in the summer with the pool, roof deck and all the events here at Assembly Row. It’s also great being by the Mystic River and there are ongoing efforts making the area more green. As an artist I also find this a peaceful environment for creating, including the Maker Studio.

The concierge staff are also very helpful. I recently moved here but I can tell Montaje is a nice place to live. Close to everything yet , quiet even being close to main roads. A lot of problems with my unit after move in. Toilet constantly clogging, dryer caught fire, paint splatter on all of the floor surfaces. Problems with the refrigerator. The closet organizer allows my cloths to hit the floor because spaced poorly. Lots of noise in the hallway. The list goes on. Can’t beat the view and the area, the only things keeping here at this point.

I find it very frustrating and disappointing that it's closed at nights. I've always had a great experience here. Even now, with more people smoking in the building, which is highly annoying and against the leasing rules of this non-smoking building, action is repeatedly taken by the staff to stop it. However, the leasing folks cannot police every hallway and unit. Otherwise, great maintenance crew as always. I always appreciate their timeliness and courtesy. This building is ok, I wish they would keep the amenities update to date, such as fixing the TV’s on the second floor , on the root top. The grills are missing knobs. The gym equipments needs also attention and also the TVs are not working. The pool temperature for the last 2 summers is cold and they don’t fix it. Other than that the building is nice.

The relatively new maintenance team has also addressed issues in the unit in a timely manner. The concierge, Kevin, goes out of his way to help me find packages that Amazon often leaves without imputing a code so that they are often hard to find without his help! I appreciate the help I receive here because it makes my living experience much better.

I’ve been at Montaje for over a year now and my experience has been great. The best part about living at Montaje is definitely the location, everything you need is within walking distance and Boston is a short drive away. The staff is also very friendly: Kevin and Marie at the front desk are the greatest. The maintenance and cleaning teams are also very friendly, reliable and quick to respond to any maintenance requests or cleaning needs for the general areas. I also love the random surprises and events that they have for residents. Overall a great place to live and I can’t see myself moving anytime soon.

Montaje went downhill just after Miscellan opened. With the exception of Kevin and the maintenance crew, the staff is appalling. I’ve emailed, messaged, and went down to the office and still no response. We want to end our lease as soon as possible. None of the ammentities work, the place is constantly dirty and disgusting, and the same tenants are allowed to take over every room and destroy the place. Why should we pay for ammenities we were promised but can’t use?

We have loved living here! From the views of the city from the rooftop deck to hanging by the pool on a hot summer day. We have definitely appreciated the recent increase of resident events too, we hope they keep on coming!

Clean and well-equipped apartments. High ceilings. All staff is helpful. The maintenance team respond even at night hours. Everything is great.

Too much noise from multiple resources: trains, trash parachute, and refrigerator. I was told it’s a concrete building, there is no trash parachute noise complain in the past for the unit next to the trash parachute. But the reality is trash drop off sound is very loud that can hear clearly in my unit. Windows don’t have any sound proof and weather proof.

Assembly Raw has a great location, you have all you need around (Restaurants, supermarket, movies, stores, parks, subway station). What else do you need to have a high quality of life?

Hallway carpet is really old and dirty. Needs to be replaced. Walls also need fresh coat of paint. Lighting is dark. Pet owners need to clean up after their pets. Apart unit itself is fine. New appliances. Good water pressure. Convenient location to live.

I love living at Montaje! The staff is great, the security is great, the neighborhood has everything and more. the T makes travel easy and the resident parking is a huge bonus. All in all it's been the best home!

So far so good, only thing I dislike is the pool table is not functional. No sticks, chalk, etc. this is an amenity that I like and would like for it to be fully functional.

Great move-in, still working out how to efficiently find packages. Really attentive staff, but a lot of people are new and still learning. Everything is clean and beautiful, but wish the outside amenities were open!

We love living here. We have lived here for the past 3 years and its great. We love the location and all the fun shops down below. Friendly staff and residents. Close by to many things and the t is right down stairs.

Montaje is a great place to call home! With so many amenities and surrounding conveniences at Assembly Row, being stranded at times due to the pandemic hasn’t been an issue. There are plenty of spots throughout the building to do work also.
